Hello again! It's been a bit.

Today we're addressing a topic that, while it hasn't surged like other topics, it has been consistent and, in my opinion, based heavily in the potstirring attitude the sub holds that every interaction needs a "winner", an attitude we're trying to push back on for the sake of the community. Starting in 8 hours (8pm EDT) we'll be retiring the topic of Martial vs Casters in memes framed as a direct competition or comparison of the two categories strengths/weaknesses.

As always, these bans are not retroactive, so memes posted before the deadline will be left up.

While I have your attention, we're working on making a few changes to the retirement system that I'm hoping to submit for a user poll later this month. These changes could include alterations to the time before retirement, megathread use, a formalization of/changes to the quarterly unretirements, and more. So keep an eye out for that.
